SHAW Communications Gearing Up For Earth Day

Image
Earlier this month, Shaw teamed up with six gamers (including Andrew Curtis, Marcel Dee, Kate Stark + more) and challenged them to plant trees for one hour during their Twitch stream in Minecraft, Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. For every tree they planted in the game, Shaw committed to planting one in the real world. In the end, they collectively planted nearly 4,000 trees, and Shaw will be matching all of them in partnership with Tree Canada. Now, to celebrate Earth Day on April 22, Shaw is taking the Tree Spree challenge even further by calling on gamers across the country to plant a tree in their favourite game, screenshot it, and share it on social with Shaw tagged (@ShawInfo #ShawTreeSpree). Shaw will match every in-game tree with one in the real world. I will be planting trees during my livestreams on Earth Day – won’t you join me?   This article first appeared on: source

The Michigan Lottery There are about 1.5m children in Michigan’s K-12 public schools right now. The Michigan Lottery provided about $700 for each student. Players don’t have to pay full price though. There are always deals for the Michigan Lottery if you know where to look. The important thing is that there is money coming in. As well as schools, the Michigan Lottery also helps out retailers.
